MOTIV Introduces The Jackal

MOTIV Jackal The Jackal features a new cover for heavy oil called Turmoil High Friction Pearl (HFP) Reactive. This black and red "power pearl" comes from the factory with a 3000 Grit LSS finish.  Incredibly, it is able to produce strong motion in the oil, yet retain energy for outstanding continuation.  World Wide Release Date: 10/22/14.

Columbia Adds a Hybrid cover to The Eruption Pro

Columbia 300 Eruption Pro hybrid is Emergency Orange / Fire Pearl coverstock called CR 300 Hybrid with a 500, 500, 500, 1000 Abralon® Finish topped off with Factory Finish polish. Inside the new ball is a Modified Resurgence Core and the design intent is for medium oil lane conditions. 

 
Columbia reports “Our cleanest cover just got cleaner and more angular with the addition of pearl. This Hybrid version is now straighter through the front of the lane and more responsive off the end of the oil pattern.” Further Columbia changed the core, reporting: “We changed the densities of one of our most popular cores ever to give you the reaction you’ve been asking for. The higher RG and lowered differential makes the Eruption Pro a great go to line on medium to drier conditions.”

Brunswick Introduces Two New Balls September 24th

Two new balls from Brunswick the Mastermind intellect™ and Brunswick Brute™

The cover of the Mastermind intellect is Honor Roll A+, a Solid coverstock which Brunswick reports “offers the most aggressive coverstock to date for a Brunswick ball. This aggressive coverstock produces easy length through the heads with unsurpassed traction in the mid-lane and backend to achieve ultimate hook.”

Inside the new ball, the Mastermind Ultra Low RG core features a single density squared-off elliptical inner core. The core is dynamically designed to extend the rotational energy, boosting angular velocity to transfer energy to the pins for increased pin action and higher scores.

 

The new Mastermind Intellect with its Royal Compound finish provides easy length through heads, strong mid lane traction with an aggressive move on the backend on medium to heavily oiled lane conditions depending on the player, of course.

The new Brunswick Brute features Fortify Hybrid Reactive coverstock, Brunswick’s hottest creation based off their performance enhancing additive chemistry technology. Fortify Hybrid Reactive combines a new base coverstock with an enhanced additive package that will provide the easiest length with the quickest lateral traction of any coverstock to date.

The new Brute Low RG/Low Differential Symmetrical core features a compact design to provide maximum energy retention. The new core shape revs quicker producing maximum performance and drilling versatility.

The New Ebonite GameBreaker2

Touting the strong mid-lane reaction of its predecessor, the new GameBreaker2 with its GB 10.7 black/purple coverstock and enhanced V2 core will be finished to 500 and 2000 Abralon.

The new Ebonite ball will be available September 16th, 2014.

Ebonite's New HP Honor

The new Ebonite Honor is Royal / Turquoise / Silver reactive with RCH 5.0 coverstock finished to 500, 500, 500, 1000 Abralon® with Powerhouse Factory Finish. The Honor is driven by the CB-2 Asymmetric core, like the Pivot and Pivot Point.
