Regional Players Invitational

John Nolen said he got his worst game out of his system last week in Cheektowaga, N.Y. which enabled him to focus on his game in day one of the Regional Players Invitational (RPI) at the Sands Regency Casino Hotel.

Nolen finished atop the 83-player field in Tuesday’s six game block featuring the Cheetah pattern.

Nolen, of Waterford, Mich., finished with 1,451 pins, averaging 241.83 over the six games. He was chased by Lonnie Walicek of Wichita, Kansas who was close behind with 1,445 pins.
