Ball Roll Broken Down

Professional Bowing Association star Michael Fagan and his bowling skills will be featured in a segment on the Discovery Channel program, Time Warp which will air on Wednesday, Dec. 10 at 8 p.m. ET. (and it will re-air later that night at 12 a.m. ET.)

The show, which is hosted by MIT scientist and teacher Jeff Lieberman, uses the latest in high-speed photography to take events and slow them down to show exactly how events happen, in a form that your body can actually process.

This past September, Time Warp filmed Fagan bowling and broke down the physical side of the game, examining his release, the way a ball rolls on the lane, how it reacts to oil, the way the ball hits the pins and the deflection necessary to get a strike.
