On Sunday, The great Dick Weber's place in the Professional Bowling Association's All Time Top 50 Bowlers was announced. The ESPN telecast revelation, announced by former PBA color analyst Nelson Burton Jr., include many of Weber's accomplishments including winning PBA events in six decades.
The unassuming Weber is remembered fondly by his contemporaries. My contact with the MAN, revealed Weber to be possibly the the most easily approached superstar in the Sport. Truly a warm, yet passionate icon for the Sport. If not the Number 1, man in bowling, his resume puts him at #3 on the PBA's Top 50 All Time.
