Hammer Introduces Dark Legend Solid and Rebel

Legends are looked up to and idolized. Future generations will aspire to be like today's Legends. The Greatest Legend's strength and power come from deep within, their Dark Side. The Hammer Dark Legend solid, arriving August 9^th, 2016. The Blue/Black Semtex solid cover, finished 500/2000, wraps the legendary Gas Mask core, enough said.

The new Hammer Rebel is a mid performance ball with new Rebel core (low RG and medium differential) designed to create more revolutions

for the bowler which in turn creates a stronger reaction on the lane. The 500/1000 Abralon TM surface finished with Factory Finish Polish is perfect for medium oil patterns. The added texture underneath the polished finish allows the Rebel to perform at its best. The NBT Pearl coverstock pushes the Rebel through the front part of the lane enhancing its reaction at the back end. World wide release is July 5^th, 2016.

Hammer To Unleash Bad Intentions in October

Hammer introduces the BAD INTENTIONS hybrid. The overall strength rating of the Bad Intentions Hybrid is a complement to the Bad Intentions. The NEW cover and finish changes allow this one to be more aggressive down lane.

The 3000 Abralon TM finish gives this new release the potential to perform extremely well on both medium and oily patterns.

Hammer reports: "The Spheroid Core is a combination of strength and control. The low Rg core system gives you the revs you are looking for while the symmetrical design offers extreme versatility."

The NEW Hammer Juiced Extreme Hybrid cover creates less traction in the oil compared to its solid counterpart but makes up for it at the back end.

Hammer added their NEW Tough Tech, Carbon Fiber reinforcement to the coverstock. WWRD is October 13, 2015.

Hammer also adds a new HAMMER BLACK Urethane in October. There isn’t a person on this planet that will argue against the fact that Hammer made the best urethane bowling balls back in the day. There is no doubt in our minds bowlers looking for the ball reaction that dominated the 80’s and early 90’s will find it in our new Black Urethane! 

The overall strength of the Black Urethane is perfect for medium to light oil patterns. This throwback will really excel on shorter oil patterns. The 500 Abralon gives ultimate traction in the oil which translates to ultimate control at the back end of the lane.

Hammer True Blood Spare Ball Arrives in May

Like the predecessor Taboo Spare from Hammer, the Hammer True Blood is a polyester coverstock. With Blood Red/Black/White poly cover and the First Blood core, the design intention is for "Super Dry" lanes. The new Hammer Arson Low Flare contains a modified Arson core covered with Blue/Teal/Red Max-Control Pearl coverstock finished aggressively with three stages of 500 Abralon® pads then Polish. World Wide Release Date: 2/5/13

The new Hammer First Blood introduction World Wide Release Date is 2/5/13. A new core labeled the First Blood appropriately, is covered in Orange /Blue / Silver NBT (Next Big Thing) Hybrid, finished aggressively with 3 stages of 500 grit Abralon® pads then Polish.

Hammer Releases New Ball News

Starting off is the Black Widow Sting. The Black Widow series has been the most successful series in Hammer’s history at Ebonite International, and it is still the best selling franchise in the bowling industry. The Sting pairs up proven “High Mass Bias Gas Mask Core” with a new Black/Blue “Violent Flip Reactive” coverstock. Bowlers will look to the Sting on heavier to medium-heavy oil, as the Violent Flip Reactive cover is extremely aggressive, and comes sanded at 2000 Grit Abralon. The Sting gives bowlers that signature Black Widow series backend with even more power and aggressiveness. Black Widow Sting has a Worldwide Release Date of July 14^th, 2009.

Raw Hammer Burn brings a new coverstock to the lanes for Hammer. “Our new “Shredder Reactive Pearl” coverstock is the most responsive coverstock ever wrapped around a Hammer mid-price ball” reports Hammer. Bowlers are going to see extremely good length with our 4000 (Abralon) and Polished finish. The new Yellow/Silver combination is different; Raw Hammer Burn has a Worldwide Release Date of June 16^th, 2009.

Onyx Vibe pairs up the reliable Vibe symmetric core with a new “CT Reactive Plus” coverstock. It comes in a very sharp Onyx Sparkle color with Gold Flake engraving. The Onyx Vibe is available in 10-16#, and is available for ordering immediately.

Finally, Hammer is pleased to announce the extension of the very successful Razyr performance line – the Razyr Black/Red. Razyr Black/Red is a new color with a familiar design. With our proven “Recoil Reactive” coverstock, we’re retaining good performance ball motion. We’re also continuing the use of our high-density 3-piece construction in the Hammer Razyr. Our new color now gives the consumer two options when they’re looking for great Hammer performance on drier lane conditions. Both colors will enter the new season in our 2009-2010 catalog. Razyr Black/Red is available in 10-16 pounds as well, and is not restricted by our Worldwide Release Date program.

Hammer is entering the world of three piece reactive balls, competing with their own Columbia 300 brand Scouts. Three piece balls feature maximum length with moderate hook. The Razor accomplish its length with a high density pancake core, and is driller friendly and easy to layout. look for a new "Recoil" reactive cover (Purple/Red) . 15# RG 2.65 DIFF 0.020. Available in August 2008.

Hammer Black Widow Venom and More

On July 15th, expect the Black Widow Venom from Hammer, the Black/Caramel "Lethal Bite Reactive" coverstock finished to 4000 with Abralon contains the highly successful "Gas Mask" core with Flip block creating RG and Differential numbers of: #16-2.51 .049, #15-2.50 .060, and #14-2.49 .057.
