Having an opportunity to roll The One Pearl, I found the ball to be even easier to get down the lane then the original One. Although we weren't throwing on lane conditions I felt would be more appropriate for the surface and my 16mph-ish ball speed, The One Pearl preformed very well. The performance on a fresh "league " condition encourages me to offer The One Pearl option to players with softer speed, and possibly "rev-challenged".

Page broke the PBA’s seven-game scoring record in the Tournament Qualifying Round (TQR) and made his televised finals debut in this tournament last year and Woessner won her first regional (Professional Women’s Bowling Association) title in Baltimore 15 years ago.

Team USA Trials
Bowlers can earn the opportunity to bowl for their country by participating in the 2009 USBC Team USA Trials, Dec. 14-19, 2008 at Las Vegas' Sunset Station Hotel & Casino.
The top three male and female adults and top two boys and girls who are age 20 and under as of December 31, 2008 will win automatic spots on Team USA and Junior Team USA for 2009.

PBA Shark Championship
Just ten minutes down the road from Country Club Lanes, local bowler William Barlow definitely made his presence known at Wednesday’s Tournament Qualifying Round (TQR) of the Lumber Liquidators Shark Championship, the eighth stop on the Lumber Liquidators PBA Tour.
Barlow of Edgewood, Md. finished with 1,597 pins over the 7-game block, averaging 228.14 to lead the 89-playerfield. Richard Fairley of Christiansburg, Va. finished in second with a score of 1,538.
