Liz Johnson of Cheektowaga, New York, has been unanimously named the September 2010 Kegel Bowler of the Month by the Bowling Writers Association of America (BWAA).
Her victories in the month were threefold. First, Johnson became the first woman to win the century-old AMF Petersen Classic with a 1651 eight-game score. The other wins were the team and all-events gold medals at the Pan American Confederation (PABCON) Women's Championships in Las Vegas.
