The Top Balls of 2008 are revealed in the January 2009 issue of Bowler's Journal International. In the category of Premium Solid Reactive Ball, the Roto Grip Cell led the voting, and from the top bowling balls earned Ball of The Year for 2008.
Rounding out the Top Five bowling balls in the Premium Solid Reactive category are Storm Virtual Gravity, Storm Dimension, Hammer Sauce and Hammer Black Widow Bite.
Top Premium Pearl Reactive Balls included: Storm Gravity Shift, Roto Grip Cell
In the Performance Solid Reactive Ball category, Top Five included: Storm Rapid Fire, Ebonite Pin Slasher,
Top Performance Pearl Reactive Balls included: Ebonite Playmaker, Storm Rapid Fire pearl, Hammer Emerald Vibe,
Lastly, in the Particle Ball category Top Balls: Lane Masters Counter Strike, Visionary Ogre, and Lane Masters Dynamic Power.
