Kenny Parks, Professional Bowlers Association (PBA) Senior Champion has announced that the first events for his Alliance of Professional Bowlers International organization will be held March 1-2 at Dixie Bowl in Louisville, KY.
According to the APBI website, there will be separate Champions 50 (i.e., senior) events both days, as well as on Open Division event on March 1. Each event will pay $2,000 for first place, with those prizes guaranteed in the senior tournaments, according to the site.

Additional APBI events have been announced for this summer in Louisville, Nashville, Knoxville and Cincinnati. Parks has said he will not schedule tournaments that conflict with PBA50 Tour events.
